Michelle Hanneken is the Homeland Security Program Manager for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA). In this capacity she oversees a variety of homeland security programs and grants and other initiatives specific to community preparedness for the agency. As part of this role, she has assisted with the development of over 95 local Citizen Corps Councils throughout the state and oversees a nationally-recognized Citizen Corps Program throughout its 11 year existence.
