Rhustie was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States when he was 15 years old. He is an active member and core leader at RAISE (Revolutionizing Asian American Immigrant Stories on the East Coast), where he advocates for humane immigration policies through sharing his experiences of being undocumented. Rhustie currently resides in New Jersey and attends Bergen Community College and is graduating this semester. He hopes to pursue a career in the medical field as a doctor.
