Pam is a life-long learner and educator having taught for twenty-seven years, most recently as an online learning instructor at both the high school and college level for Okaloosa Online, Blue Ridge International Academy, and Troy University. She has worked as a secondary language arts teacher, a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Alabama, a middle school gifted education language arts and social studies teacher, and a community college instructor. In 2004, she earned certification in adolescence and young adulthood language arts by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She is active in Holocaust education having received the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellowship in 2000 and for the past five years has provided broader free community education programming through the Florida Humanities Council as well as through a 2010 Carl Wilkens Fellowship with the Genocide Intervention Network.
