Matthew Baker was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. At 19 years old he served two years as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Osaka, Japan. Upon his return he began his undergraduate work at Utah State University. Matthew left USU with a BA in business administration and a minor in Japanese. Matt Baker presently serves in an executive sales position at Blackboard managing international strategy. He currently resides in the Washington D.C. area with his wife and four children.
