Thomas Green III is a US Army Veteran, deployed in Iraq. He was awarded a Purple Heart after being seriously injured by an IED. Thomas is currently working for the Department of Veterans Affairs. In 2009 Thomas Green III released his first book Sometimes We Fall as Boys but Rise as Men. Green is devoted to traveling throughout the nation and speaking at various events. Green also serves as a Peer Mentor to veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan that may be facing a hard time recovering from their injuries. Thomas has three children—two boys and a girl.
