Sabari Subramanian, Virginia, 7th grade. A 7th grade student at Lanier Middle School that resides in Fairfax, Virginia, Sabari has played a vital role in the Eco-Team at Lanier. He has lead Eco-Team meetings, taken part in an energy audit at Lanier, developed educational presentations to help teach student best practices related to conservation, and spent many hours working to convert Lanier’s courtyard into a thriving eco-system and living classroom.
