Joy Vithespongse Trejo is the Senior Director of Early Childhood and Family Service Programs for The Campagna Center. Founded in 1945, The Campagna Center is a non-profit organization located in Alexandria, Virginia with a mission of drawing together the resources of the Alexandria Community to strengthen families and provide programs that help children become caring, productive adults. Joy has held the position of Senior Director of Early Childhood and Family Service Programs since 2007 and is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all early childhood, family support and community services for the families enrolled in the Early Childhood programs including: Head Start, Early Head Start, Virginia Pre-School Initiative, Afternoon Adventures, Summer Safari and The Early Learning Center, which serve over 400 children per day by providing high-quality early childhood education and development services to children ages 0-5 and their low-income families.
