Brittany Valdez is a graduate student in Educational Psychology at West Virginia University. She works with Partnerships in Assistive Technologies and the West Virginia Assistive Technology System, both of which are dedicated to increasing access to assistive technology devices and services. Brittany used the TapToTalk application to create a mechanism for emergency responders to communicate with individuals in the midst of emergencies.
