Edward Wiest has been a teacher for 29 years, the past 13 of which have been on the Crow Reservation. He just celebrated his 30th anniversary with his lovely wife Nancy and is the proud father of four children. He currently works at Plenty Coups High School in Pryor, Montana as a mathematics teacher where he is actively involved with school improvement through a Schools of Promise grant. He is a member of the School Improvement labor-management team, chairs the local Montana Behavior Initiative committee, is working on obtaining National Teacher Certification, and otherwise is just a regular guy who loves living in Montana.
