2011 White House Easter Egg Roll

On April 25, 2011, the First Family hosted 30,000 people from all 50 states in their backyard for the 133rd White House Easter Egg Roll. This year's theme “Get Up and Go!” focused on promoting health and wellness, a central part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative to raise a healthier generation of kids. Easter Egg Roll Poster Contest

Students from Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia submitted more than 400 entries to be the Easter Egg Roll’s official poster. First Lady Obama selected two co-winners, Morgan Ferrans of Maryland, and Alyssa Pendergast of Virginia. Check out their winning designs!
