Tuesday, February 17^th

• The President released the number of people who signed up for affordable healthcare on healthcare.gov.
• The President met with the outgoing Administrator of USAID, Rajiv Shah along with his family.
• The President met with newly-sworn-in Secretary of Defense Ash Carter.

Wednesday, February 18^th

• The President convened the first ever White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.

Thursday, February 19^th

• The President spoke at the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism at the State Department in DC.
• The President designated the Browns Canyon in Colorado a National Monument.
• The President traveled to Chicago, where he designated the South Side’s Pullman district a National Monument.
