TODAY: Embargoed Conference Call to Discuss New Savings in Medicare and Medicaid
Today at 5:45 PM EDT, OMB Director Peter Orszag and Office of Health Reform Director Nancy-Ann DeParle will hold an embargoed conference call with reporters to discuss new savings proposals to be announced by President Obama in tomorrow’s weekly address. The President referenced these savings in a recent letter to Senators regarding health reform, indicating that specifics of the proposals would follow.
