President Obama Announces His Intent to Nominate Rod Hunter
as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank
WASHINGTON – Today, President Barack Obama announced his intent to nominate Roszell (Rod) Hunter as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
President Obama announced his intent to nominate the following individual today:
Roszell (Rod) Hunter, Nominee for Member of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of the United States
Rod Hunter, a Hudson Institute Senior Fellow, served as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Senior Director at the White House's National Security Council, where he coordinated the Administration's international economic policies. He also served as special counsel in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. Prior to that government service, he was a partner with Hunton & Williams in the firm's Brussels office. Earlier in his career, he served as a judicial clerk for Chief Justice Sir Anthony Mason, High Court of Australia, and Judge Boyce Martin, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and was an assistant to Senator John Warner of Virginia. He received a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College and a J.D. the University of Virginia.
