Readout President Obama's Discussion with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Margins of the Nuclear Security Summit

President Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Harper met late yesterday on the margins of the Nuclear Security Summit.  The President and the Prime Minister noted the enduring strength of our bilateral partnership.  President Obama commended Prime Minister Harper for Canada’s leadership on nonproliferation issues and its work to advance the G8 Global Partnership and prepare for a successful Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference next month.  The leaders also discussed the importance of continuing progress for balanced and sustainable global growth.
