President Obama looks forward to welcoming Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany to the White House on Friday, June 26. The United States and Germany, a NATO ally, enjoy long-standing and strong bilateral relations and partner together around the world to promote peace, prosperity, and democratic freedoms. The President looks forward to consulting with the Chancellor on a broad agenda of global issues of mutual concern.
