Final Guidelines for Ensuring the Quality of Disseminated Information

(available in pdf)

PURPOSE: The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) today implements these final information quality guidelines pursuant to the Data Quality Act, Section 515 of Public Law 106-554.

Pursuant to prior Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance, on May 1, 2002, OSTP posted an earlier draft of these guidelines on its website, and published a Notice of their availability in the Federal Register.
