Lauren Kelly oversees the Community Leaders Briefing Series, a weekly series aimed at connecting grassroots and community leaders with the tools and resources of the federal government. Prior to joining the OPE team, Lauren spent two years working at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She previously worked on the Obama for America campaign in 7 states. Lauren is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH.
