In the afternoon, the President will meet with USAID Administrator Raj Shah in the Oval Office to discuss USAID humanitarian assistance efforts including those in the Middle East, Africa, Haiti, Afghanistan and Pakistan and the disaster assistance being provided to the Japanese government as they respond to the recent major earthquake and tsunami. In the afternoon, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press. The President Prime Minister Rasmussen will then deliver statements to the press in the Oval Office. The statements are pooled press. The President looks forward to discussing with Prime Minister Rasmussen the strong ties between the United States and Denmark, the common global and security challenges our two nations face, including counterterrorism, the situation in the Middle East and economic and environmental issues.  The President and the Prime Minister will also discuss the situation in Afghanistan, where more than 700 Danish combat troops as well as police and army training teams are serving in Helmand Province.

In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will welcome the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks to the White House to honor the team’s 2009-10 championship season in a ceremony. The ceremony on the South Lawn is open to pre-credentialed press. The deadline to request media credentials has passed. Following the ceremony, First Lady, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, and USA Hockey Executive Director Dave Ogrean will preside over a street hockey workout and clinic on a rink set up on the South Lawn of the White House. The clinic for local youngsters, which will be conducted by members of the Blackhawks and Washington Capitals, is part of a new collaboration between Mrs. Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative, the NHL and USA Hockey to encourage American children to lead active and healthy lives and continues the President’s tradition of sports champions serving in the community as part of their visit. In the morning, the President, the First Lady, the Department of Education, and the Department of Health and Human Services will welcome students, parents, teachers and others to the White House for a Conference on Bullying Prevention.  The conference will bring together communities from across the nation who have been affected by bullying as well as those who are taking action to address it.  Participants will have the opportunity to talk with the President and representatives from the highest levels of his Administration about how all communities can work together to prevent bullying.

The President and the First Lady will meet with a small group of students and parents from the Conference on Bullying Prevention in the Oval Office.  There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.

Afterwards, the President and the First Lady will deliver remarks at the Conference on Bullying Prevention in the East Room. The President and the First Lady’s remarks will be open press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with a bicameral, bipartisan group of legislators to discuss the reauthorization of ESEA, also known as No Child Left Behind.  Meeting participants include Representatives Kline, Miller, Hunter, Kildee and Senators Harkin, Enzi, Bingaman, and Alexander. The President looks forward to working with this bipartisan group of leaders to revise the federal law so that it is more fair, flexible, and focused on helping all students to graduate ready for college and careers.
