Also tomorrow, Gene Sperling, Director of the National Economic Council, and Austan Goolsbee, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, will release “A Strategy for American Innovation: Securing Our Economic Growth and Prosperity,” an update to the administration’s innovation report from September 2009. The report will outline the importance of investing in innovation and the industries of the future to grow our economy, create jobs and win the future. Sperling and Goolsbee will discuss in the briefing room at 1:30 pm ET. Goolsbee has just released a new White House White Board explaining how Startup America, part of the innovation strategy, will help new businesses clear the hurdles to success.
