In the morning, the President will depart Naypyitaw, Burma en route Rangoon, Burma. The departure from Naypyitaw International Airport and arrival at Yangon International Airport are open press.

Later in the morning, the President will tour the Secretariat Building. There will be travel pool coverage of this tour.

Afterward, the President will meet with Aung San Suu Kyi at her residence, and the President and Aung San Suu Kyi will hold a press conference. The meeting is closed press, and the press conference is open to pre-credentialed media.

Cushing will receive the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions while serving as commanding officer of Battery A, 4th United States Artillery, Artillery Brigade, 2nd Corps, Army of the Potomac during combat operations in the vicinity of Cemetery Ridge, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on July 3, 1863.
