Maureen Tracey-Mooney
Former Senior Policy Analyst
Maureen Tracey-Mooney was formerly Senior Policy Analyst in the Office of the Vice President, where she focused on early childhood and K-12 education, workplace and public safety, the auto industry and other issues. Maureen previously worked for the White House Council on Automotive Communities and Workers, based at the Department of Labor, where she supported communities in Ohio and worked on the interagency team that established the $773 million trust for the environmental cleanup of former GM properties. During the transition she worked on the Department of Labor’s agency review team. Maureen joined the Obama campaign’s policy staff in March of 2007 and went on to work on the field staff, ending the campaign as a Regional Field Director in Cincinnati, of which she is a proud native. Maureen is a Cincinnati Bengals fan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago.
