The First Family will return to Washington, DC.

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will sign the Southwest Border Security Bill in the Oval Office. There will be a spray for pool still photographers only.

In the evening, the President will host an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan in the State Dining Room. There will be pooled press coverage of the President’s remarks.

In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later, the President will deliver remarks and sign the Manufacturing Enhancement Act of 2010, a bill that will help create jobs and invest in the manufacturing sector, one of the key drivers of our economic recovery. This event in the East Room is open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet separately with Secretary of the Navy Mabus and Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
 

In the morning, the President will welcome the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints to the White House to honor their 2009 season. This event in the East Room is open press. The Saints will hold a Let’s Move! -PLAY 60 football clinic with DC area children prior to the event with the President.  After the event, all Saints players and staff will visit troops and their families at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Austin, Texas where he will deliver remarks at a DNC finance event and discuss higher education and the economy at the University of Texas at Austin. There will be travel pool coverage of the President’s remarks at the DNC finance event and the event at the University of Texas at Austin will be open press. Later, he will travel to Dallas, Texas to attend a DSCC finance event. This event is closed press.
