In the morning, the President and the Vice President will welcome the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride to the White House in celebration of the seventh annual Soldier Ride. A cycling event to help Wounded Warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being, the Soldier Ride also raises awareness of our nation’s Wounded Warriors who battle the physical and psychological damages of war. The President’s remarks on the South Lawn are open press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with representatives from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with insurance executives in the Roosevelt Room. There will be a photojournalist spray at the top of the meeting.

While in Oakdale, the President will visit the Community College of Allegheny County West Hills Center to tour a classroom and deliver remarks on the importance of jobs-driven skills training in a 21st Century economy.
