Later in the morning, the President will travel to Bladensburg High School in Bladensburg, Maryland to announce the winners of a competition he launched last fall to bring together educators and employers to redesign the high school experience to give students access to real-world career skills and college-level courses. The President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media and there will be in-town travel pool coverage of the President’s classroom visit at Bladensburg High School.

Later in the morning, the President and Vice President will meet with Secretary of the Treasury Lew.

In the afternoon, the President will host Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa of Tunisia at the White House.  During the meeting, the President looks forward to discussing the commitment Tunisia’s leaders have made to advancing Tunisia’s democracy and how the United States can further support Tunisia’s historic transition.  The leaders will discuss a broad range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, including U.S. economic, political, and security assistance to support the Prime Minister’s reform agenda and Tunisia’s stability.  Prime Minister Jomaa’s visit is a demonstration of the strong bonds of friendship between the American and Tunisian people, and America’s enduring commitment to Tunisia’s democratic transition. The Vice President will also attend. There will be a pool spray at the top of the bilateral meeting in the Oval Office.

In the evening, the President will host a reception for Greek Independence Day in the East Room. The Vice President will also attend. This reception is closed press.
