In the afternoon, the President will continue to make the case for the Buffett Rule in interviews with four local television anchors and appeal to the Senators from those states to support the proposal when it comes to the floor of the Senate on Monday. The President will sit down with anchors from WCMH in Columbus, OH; KCRG in Cedar Rapids, IA; KMOV in St. Louis, MO; and KOLO in Reno, NV. The Buffett Rule is a simple principle for fairness that ensures that millionaires pay at least the same effective tax rate as middle class families pay. The President believes in standing up for the middle class and making our tax system fairer, where everyone plays by the same set of rules, in order to ensure the economic security of the middle class. In the morning, the President will depart the White House en route West Palm Beach, Florida.  The departure from the South Lawn and arrival at Palm Beach International Airport are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at a private residence.  This event is print pool for remarks only.

Also in the morning, the President and the First Lady will host the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn. The event will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling. The President and First Lady’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

Later, President Obama will host President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil for meetings at the White House as part of the Leaders’ on-going dialogue regarding the growing partnership between the United States and Brazil across a wide range of issues.  The Presidents will have the opportunity to follow up on progress made under the three presidential dialogues launched during President Obama’s March 2011 visit to Brazil – the Strategic Energy Dialogue, the Economic and Financial Dialogue, and the Global Partnership Dialogue.  These meetings will also provide the two Leaders the opportunity to again meet with the U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum and continue efforts to grow commercial, economic, education, and innovation ties between our two countries. There will be a pool spray with statements at the bottom of the meeting in the Oval Office.

From access to affordable education for young women to supporting women at work and at home, to ensuring security for women in retirement, the Administration is committed, across all agencies and departments, to do everything it can to create an economy built to last for America's women.
