In the morning, the President will deliver remarks at Hankuk University in Seoul in which he'll discuss his Prague agenda to stop the spread of nuclear weapons and seek the peace and security of a world without them, including his commitment to safe, clean nuclear energy as part of his comprehensive strategy to develop all sources of American energy. The President’s remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media. 

Later in the morning, the President will attend a bilateral meeting with President Medvedev of Russia. There will be a pool spray with statements at the bottom of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President will host a bilateral meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan.  There will be a pool spray with statements at the top of the meeting.

The Schedule

In the morning, the President will visit the Cushing, Oklahoma area to discuss his Administration’s commitment to improving and supporting the infrastructure that helps us leverage our domestic resources, while also ensuring these projects are developed in a safe and responsible way. This includes a pipeline that will transport oil from Cushing to the Gulf of Mexico, which will help address the bottleneck of oil that has resulted in large part from increased domestic oil production in the Midwest.  The President will deliver remarks at a storage yard holding pipes that will be used for the construction of the pipeline.The President’s remarks are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Cushing, Oklahoma and travel to Columbus, Ohio. The President’s departure from Tinker Air Force Base and arrival at Rickenbacker Airport are open press.

While in Boulder City, the President will visit the Copper Mountain Solar 1 Facility, the largest photovoltaic plant operating in the country with nearly one million solar panels powering 17,000 homes. The President will highlight his Administration’s focus on diversifying our energy portfolio, including expanding renewable energy from sources like wind and solar, which thanks in part to investments made by this Administration is set to double in the President’s first term. The President’s tour of the facility will be pooled press and the President’s remarks are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Boulder City, Nevada en route Roswell, New Mexico. The departure from McCarran International Airport and arrival at Roswell International Air Center Airport are open press.

Later, the President will travel to oil and gas production fields located on federal lands outside of Maljamar, New Mexico, an area home to more than seventy active drilling rigs. While in Maljamar, the President will highlight the Administration’s commitment to expanding domestic oil and gas production, which has increased each year he has been in office, with domestic oil production currently at an eight year high and domestic natural gas production at an all-time high.
