The Schedule

In the morning, the President will meet with Kailash Satyarthi, who along with Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the rights of all children to education.”Afterward, the President will deliver remarks at Siri Fort Auditorium. The First Lady will also attend. There will a pool spray of the meeting with Kailash Satyarthi, and the President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The departure from Air Force Station Palam  is open to pre-credentialed media, and the arrival at King Khalid International Airport will be covered by the travel pool.

While in Riyadh, the President and King Salman will participate in multiple events including delegation introductions, a bilateral meeting and dinner at Erga Palace. There will be travel pool sprays of the delegation introductions and the bilateral meeting, and the dinner is closed press.

Afterward, the President and First Lady will depart Riyadh en route Ramstein, Germany on their way back to Washington DC. The departure from King Khalid International Airport and the arrival at Ramstein Air Base, where Air Force One will refuel, will be covered by the travel pool.

The President and First Lady will remain overnight on Air Force One.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with President Otto Perez Molina of Guatemala, President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras, and President Salvador Sanchez Ceren of El Salvador. The Vice President will also attend. The four leaders and Vice President Biden will discuss how to reinforce our ongoing collaboration to stem the flow of undocumented migrants from Central America to Mexico and the United States.  This will include discussion of how the United States and Central American governments are cooperating to promote safe, legal, and orderly migration between our countries in a spirit of shared responsibility, including with respect to the return of family units, which began last week for all three countries.  There will be a pool spray of this meeting in the Cabinet Room at the bottom.
