What's Happening

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with Ebola response supporters. This meeting in the Roosevelt Room is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will make remarks on the progress made to date and the next steps in our response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. This event in the South Court Auditorium is open press.

In the evening, the President will meet with Secretary of Defense Hagel in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the morning, the President will host Chancellor Angela Merkel at the White House. The President and Chancellor Merkel will hold a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office; the Vice President will also attend.  This meeting will be followed by a joint press conference in the East Room.  There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting, and the press conference is open press.

In the afternoon, the President will hold a working lunch with Chancellor Merkel in the Cabinet Room; the Vice President will also attend.  The leaders will discuss a range of issues including Ukraine, Russia, counterterrorism, ISIL, Afghanistan, and Iran.  They will also cover economic growth, international trade, climate change and Germany’s plans for hosting the G-7 Summit in June.  The working lunch is closed press.

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with a group of DREAMers who have received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The meeting is an opportunity for the President to hear directly from young immigrants whose lives have been positively affected as a result of receiving deferred action or DACA. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this meeting in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with American Muslim leaders to discuss a range of domestic and national security issues. This meeting in the Roosevelt Room is closed press.

In the evening, the President will host new Members of Congress at a reception at the White House. This reception is closed press.

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will deliver remarks on the FY2016 budget at the Department of Homeland Security.  The President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media and will be streamed live at whitehouse.gov/live.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will welcome the 2014 NHL Champion Los Angeles Kings and the 2014 MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy to honor the teams on winning their Championship titles. This visit will continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities. This event in the East Room is open press.
